The World Bank mission on RED1 and RED2 projects ends

The World Bank mission on the Regional Economic Development Projects in the Osh and Batken regions (RED-1 and RED-2) was completed. These projects are implemented by the Community Development and Investment Agency with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic with financial support from the World Bank.

The mission was closed with the participation of the ARIS management, project team and the representatives of the bank. The final meeting was attended by Tolkun Jukusheva, Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist/ Task Team Leader, Tengiz Gogotishvili (Senior Urban Specialist/Co-Task Team Leader, and ARIS Executive Director Mars Naspekov, Aibek Kadyrov Project Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator Gulmira Djumabekova.

The mission discussed various aspects of the project implementation and conducted meetings with interested parties.

Also, the WB consultant Zviad Churchelauri visited Osh and Uzgen cities to monitor the progress on project sites together with the project team. The monitoring was done to assess the current condition and progress of implementation of the project.
