The World Bank’s CASA-1000 CSP and CSP AF implementation support mission has concluded

Over five days, the WB mission, led by Senior Social Development Specialist Ms. Luiza Nora and the team headed by CSP and CSP AF Coordinator Mayrambek Bayaliev, focused on the implementation of "CASA-1000 Community Support Project" and the “Additional Financing for the CASA-1000 Community Support Project."

Discussions involved the summary of activities aimed at electricity improvement in targeted villages, with participation from World Bank Senior Energy Specialist Mr. D. Glazkov. The mission also addressed social and environmental management, and progress in monitoring and evaluation of both projects.

Significant attention was given to engaging community members in managing external investments and internal resources through social mobilization tools. This engagement took place through traditional formats such as village meetings and focus groups, as well as via digital communication platforms. Participation on the online platforms of CSP and CSP AF totaled 826,657 people, including 404,746 women (51%) and 347,384 young people (47%).

As a result of social accountability activities, community scorecards indicate that 84% of beneficiaries are satisfied with investments in their villages, and 91% believe their participation in decision-making on investments was effective.
