A new overhead power line was put into operation in the Alay district of the Osh region
A new 11 km long 10 kV power line opened in Alay district of the Osh region. This significant energy infrastructure was implemented with the support of the Regional Economic Development Project in the Osh region and Osh city (RED1).
A new power line starts at 72 km of the Osh-Sarytash-Irkeshtam motor road and is designed to deliver a reliable power supply for the residents and enterprises of the district. Opening of this power line is very important for the development of social and economic infrastructure of the region.
The opening ceremony was attended by the deputy Representative of the President of the KR in the Osh region Ilyas Tashbaev, Executive Director of ARIS Mars Naspekov and RED Project Coordinator Aibek Kadyrov.
Ilyas Tashbaev noted the significance of the project and said “The opening of this new power line in the Alay district is an outstanding event for our region. This project will significantly improve the quality and stability of power supply in the region and become the basis for further development and prosperity of our region”. Also, Ilyas Tahsbaev expressed his gratitude to ARIS for its contribution to the successful implementation of the project. We appreciate the input of ARIS in the development of the Alay district, thanks to the support and professionalism, the project was implemented with good quality and on time.
A new power line will provide stable electricity, increase the capacity of the power grid, create favorable conditions for doing business, and improve the quality of life of local people. It will also open new opportunities for the implementation of economic initiatives and further development of the infrastructure of the district. Design and construction of the new line were accomplished in accordance with modern standards ensuring reliability and durability.
Regional Economic Development Project in the Osh region and Osh city (RED1) is implemented by the Community Development and Investment Agency with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic with financial support from the World Bank.
