Opening of the subproject "Construction of the building of Family Doctors Group (FDG) #1 in Kayindy city, Panfilov rayon, Chui oblast"

On December 5, in Kayindy city, the building of the Family Doctors' Group #1 was opened and put into operation. The new health facility was built with the support of the Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS) under the Sustainable Village Project (SVP).

The official opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chui oblast, Kyshtobayeva Gulmira, the Head of Panfilov rayon state administration-akim Mail Aliyaskarov, Mayor of Kayindy Ernur Jumabayev, Director of the rayon General Medical Practice Center D. Abdykalykov, representatives of ARIS, medical workers and community representatives of Kayindy city.

Note that the building of Family Doctors' Group #1 was in disrepair, and yet it serves the entire population of the city of Kayindi. Since it was not possible to repair the building, the city administration has proposed this subproject proposal. Next, the rayon competition committee considered all submitted bids and made a ranked list. From the ranked list, a subproject proposal for the construction of a Family Doctors' Group building was approved by the donor of the Sustainable Village Project, the Islamic Development Bank.

In 2018, the design institute has developed the design and estimate documentation for the construction of the FDG building and advertised a tender for construction and installation works. According to the results of the tender, "Sher-Kurulush" LLC acted as the contractor to carry out construction work.

According to the proposed design it was supposed to build 35 medical rooms, with a total area of 514 m² - doctors' offices, lobby, reception, patient examination rooms, treatment rooms, bathrooms, laboratory, technical facilities and storeroom.

The building itself is one-story rectangular, brick walls, insulated and covered with facade paint. Roofing is profiled flooring, metal-plastic doors and windows, the foundation is reinforced concrete.

Flooring is laminate and ceramic tiles. A full set of furniture was procured, supply as a set with bathroom ceramics was completed.
