Coordinators of ARIS projects took part in a conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On April 15, a scientific and practical conference “Advantages of the development of the financial and economic system of the Batken region” was held in Batken. The event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The conference was attended by the representatives of ministries and departments, heads of regional and district administrations, teachers of higher universities, representatives of the banking sector and international organizations, NGOs, and others.
The main goals of the conference were: discussion of the potential and prospects for the development of the financial system of the Batken region; discussion of a partnership between the academic circle and industrial enterprises (strengthening their role in the development of the regional economy); and consideration of mechanisms for effective growth of budget revenues.
Coordinator of the CASA-1000 Local Community Support Project (LCSP) M. Bayaliev and coordinator of the Regional Economic Development Project in the Batken Region (RED2) A. Kadyrov spoke about the goals, objectives, and advantages of projects implemented by ARIS in the Batken region.
