A meeting of the Steering Committee meeting under the Naryn Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Development Program was held

A meeting of the Steering Committee on implementation of the Naryn Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Development Program (NRWSSDP) was held at the State Institution "Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Development" under the Water Resources Service under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic (SI DWSSD). The meeting was chaired by Azamat Zhanyshbekovich Shadmanov, a Chairman of the Steering Committee and Director of SI DWSSD.

The Council heard the NRWSSDP progress implementation report for 2024. In particular, information was presented on the results of works on construction of drinking water supply systems in villages, as well as on construction and rehabilitation of sanitary facilities in schools, kindergartens and medical institutions.

During the meeting, the activities carried out on institutional development, sanitation and hygiene were also reviewed. In addition, the Steering Committee members familiarized themselves with the results of the functioning of the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) under NRWSSDP during the reporting period.

Based on the meeting results, the Steering Committee members approved the report on works completed under the NRWSSDP for 2024.
