The World Bank Mission under the AF VIP-3 kicked off today
On April 24, 2024, the World Bank Mission to support the implementation of the Additional Financing under the Third Village Investment Project (COVID-19 response), led by the WB Senior Social Development Specialist, Mr. Christopher Finch, has started.
As a reminder, one of the main objectives of the project is to improve access to quality social services, economic opportunities and increase access to primary health care and hygiene in rural communities.
AF VIP-3 Coordinator Mirbek Dosuev and project specialists provided detailed information on project implementation progress in Chui, Naryn, Talas and Issyk-Kul oblasts. During several days it is planned to discuss the progress of activities on: social accountability; climate change; gender aspects; activities on the online platform, implementation of subprojects within the framework of livelihoods support and improvement of social infrastructure; financial management and procurement issues.
Working meetings with beneficiaries and familiarization with subprojects located in Talas and Naryn oblasts are planned within the framework of the AF VIP-3 Mission.
