The WB's Preliminary Assessment Mission of the NCDP was launched

Today, February 15, the World Bank's National Community Driven Project (NCDP) Preliminary Assessment Mission started its work. During several days, until February 23 inclusive, it is planned to discuss: the main mechanisms for implementation of the NCDP in Kyrgyzstan; institutionalization of community-driven development; interaction with LSGBs; types of climate change adaptive investments for target communities; processes and linkages of capacity building and social mobilization activities; issues of social and environmental governance, etc.  

The meeting was attended by Mr. Christopher Finch - Senior Social Development Specialist/ Task Team Leader; Ms. Luiza Nora - Senior Social Development Specialist/ Task Team Leader, Ms. Damira Temirbaeva - Social Development Specialist, Co-TTL, Mr. Aibek Ashirov - World Bank Economist;  Ms. Asel Mambetkulova, Deputy Executive Director of ARIS, Mr. Mirbek Dosuev, Coordinator of the AF VIP-3, Mr. Mayrambek Bayaliev, Coordinator of the CASA-1000 CSP, management of the above projects.
