The World Bank's CASA-1000 CSP and CSP AF Implementation Support Mission Started Today

From May 13 to 20, led by Senior Social Development Specialist Ms. Luiza Nora, the mission will assess the progress of the "CASA-1000 Community Support Project" and the "Additional Financing for the CASA-1000 Community Support Project."

The review will focus on the implementation of social infrastructure investments, outcomes, and lessons learned from social mobilization activities in targeted areas, financial management and procurements, and best practices from the "Livelihood Support Program." Key activities related to climate change, gender, and communications will also be reviewed.

Additionally, as part of the World Bank’s CSP and CSP AF implementation support mission, meetings are scheduled with representatives from the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ministry of Economy and Commerce, and ARIS KR management. These meetings will address preparations for implementing a new project financed by the World Bank on behalf of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — the National Community Initiatives Project (NCIP).
