Training skilled specialists is a pledge of development
Executive Director of the Kyrgyz Republic’s Community Development and Investment Agency Mr. Mars Naspekov visited Kyrgyz State Technical University to familiarize with its activity for education of skilled staff for water supply and sanitation sector.
The ARIS Executive Director, Project Coordinators Korchubai uulu Erlan, Urmat Bidinov, Timur Maralbaev, Ulanbek Baigonchokov and the chair of Supreme Academic Council of the University Mr. Chynybaev participated in the meeting.
The university representatives described in detail its research activity, improvement of education quality, scientific capacity through cooperation with leading companies and organizations towards communication of hands-on experience and state-of-the-art knowledge as well as relevant needs of current labor market.
The ARIS delegation was also invited for an introductory tour in campus where they visited training facilities with relevant equipment enabling the development of innovative capacity of young specialists.
The ARIS Executive Director underlined that professional specialists play a key role in ensuring economic growth and innovative progress of the country. Primarily, high-quality and adequate education should be provided.
As stated by the ED, “Kyrgyz State Technical University is known by high level of academic education in engineering, information technologies, architecture and other similar areas. ARIS is prepared to provide any assistance to the University for training of highly skilled specialists able to utilize innovative technologies, hands-on experience and knowledge that meet the market demand”.
For information, ARIS and the university have concluded Memorandum of Understanding for provision of skilled personnel for the water and sanitation sector (education and advanced training), in particular municipal water enterprises, community drinking water users unions and other water operators.
