The World Bank mission reviewed the activity of the Regional Economic Development Project in the Osh region and Osh city

The mission of the World Bank accompanied by the project coordinator Aibek Kadyrov, the project team, and contracting organizations visited the project sites and reviewed works held in the tourism facilities and urban infrastructure.  

1. Reconstruction of the central square in Osh city;

2. Renovation of the T. Satylganov summer theater;

3. Reconstruction of the Navoi park in Osh;

4. Construction of the pedestrian bridge in Uzgen city;

5. Construction of 11 km long power line from 72 km of the Osh-Sarytash-Erkeshtam highway to Gulcha village of Alai district, Osh region;

6. Construction of roads and power lines for "Nookat Almasy" under Public-private cooperation.

Also, the mission attended the training “Capacity building of the stakeholders of the tourism sector in the Osh region”, which is conducted as part of Component 3.2 “Development, marketing and promotion of tourism products”.
