ARIS: Optimizing household waste management is about making local communities more environmentally responsible

The Community Development and Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that on April 4, 2024, the official ceremony of transfer of special-purpose equipment of a rear-loaded refuse collection vehicle for the community of S. Chokmorov ayil aimak of Alamudun rayon, Chui oblast under the Additional Financing of the Third Village Investment Project (AF VIP-3) took place.

O.A. Taiteliyev, Deputy Akim of Alamudun rayon, Chui oblast, G.E. Niyazova, Head of S. Chokmorov ayil okmotu, N.B. Majitov, Chairman of ayil kenesh, deputies of local kenesh, M.D. Dosuev, Coordinator of the Additional Financing of the Third Village Investment Project, ARIS specialists and local residents participated in the ceremony of equipment transfer.

The new special-purpose machinery of the rear-loaded refuse collection vehicle, which has advanced technologies, could contribute to a more organized and systematic collection of waste, which would ultimately improve sanitary conditions in rural areas, as well as reduce the impact on the environment.

"Protecting the environment is becoming a top priority these days and it is very important that people in local communities are actively supporting environmentally friendly initiatives. I would like to wish success in the future path of sustainable development and continue to search for and implement innovative approaches to solving environmental and social problems in the local community," said M.D. Dosuev.

It is worth noting that ayil okmotu has built a specialized vestibule to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the new garbage truck. This important step would ensure efficient operation of the garbage truck and improve the quality of service to our rural community.

We would like to add that the equipment of the garbage truck optimizes the waste collection processes, resulting in increased productivity and reduced time for solid waste removal tasks.
