Today, on December 5, 2022, the World Bank Supervision Mission within the framework of support of the implementation of the Kyrgyz Republic Community Development and Investment Agency's Heat Supply Improvement Project was commenced.
The World Bank Mission is led by Task Team Leader Ms. Yun Wu - Senior Energy Specialist, co-TTL Mr. Yae Jun Kim - Energy Specialist, Mr. Almaz Asipjanov - Environmental Specialist, Ms. Syrga Asanalieva - Social Development Specialist, Ms. Irina Goncharova - Senior Procurement Specialist, Mr. Bekten Doolotov - Energy Specialist.
During the meeting with the Mission, the project team presented detailed information about the project implementation, the results achieved and the actions currently being carried out. Also, the next steps for implementation and expediting the project were discussed.
In its turn, the World Bank experts have recommended to follow the agreed timeline in order to successfully complete the project.

The Heat Supply Improvement Project is implemented by ARIS with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and funded by the International Development Association and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of the Government of Switzerland (SECO) and aims to improve access to reliable and efficient heating services and introduce energy efficient technologies to reduce energy consumption by state and municipal institutions, buildings in the education and health sectors.
