Opening of a kindergarten for 100 children in Suusamyr village, Suusamyr ayil aimak, Jayil rayon, Chui oblast

Today the opening ceremony of the kindergarten was held as part of the Sustainable Village Project implemented by ARIS KR.

The event was attended by Nuril Alymbayev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in Chui oblast, Torogeldi Turkbayev, akim of Jayil rayon, heads of rayon education departments, ARIS staff in Chui oblast, as well as local residents.

It should be noted that Suusamyr ayil okmotu proposed subproject proposals. The Rayon Competition Commission reviewed all submitted applications and made a ranked list, according to the received scores. From the ranked list the subproject proposal on construction of kindergarten was approved according to the project budget, which was approved by the Islamic Development Bank.

Mayrambek Ismailov, chief specialist of Suusamyr AO:

"Suusamyr valley is located far from the center and due to the difficult conditions the most important problem has always been pre-school education. For many years we have been trying to solve this issue. As a result, with the support of ARIS, a kindergarten for 100 children appeared in our valley".

The kindergarten building consists of 4 blocks and has an H-shaped floor plan. The master plan envisages a canteen, boiler room, heating substation, playgrounds, landscaping and planting of greenery. The total construction area 1363 m².

Total cost of the facility was 36 175 136 KGS, of which grant in the amount of 34 668 184 KGS, contribution of community of Suusamyr ayil aimak was 1 506 952 KGS.

Construction and installation works are 100% completed. The required furniture has been procured, and the supply as a complete set of the sanitary ware has been completed.
