8 facilities commissioned under the Village Investment Project in Akterek aiyl district of Ton raion in Issyk-Kul oblast

 
All the implemented MPs in this aiyl district were initiated by the local community to improve access to social infrastructure. Total amount of micro-projects was 2303949 KGS, out of them ARIS community grant amounted to 1695006 KGS, community contribution totaled to 608943 KGS.

For active youth the community opened a fight and fitness hall, in 2 rural libraries equipment and furniture were renewed, close to modular. Needs of elderly population were not put aside as well. For them chairs were purchased for the waiting room in the post office to improve conditions of receiving pension. In the rural hospital new electrocardiogram (ECG) and medical equipment of store medicine were installed. Besides, old building of the community club was repaired: roof, door and window frames were replaced and now cultural events can be organized. The most important point according to villagers, was repair of the existing water pipeline that will provide them with drinking water.

Upon completion of these micro-projects, villagers expressed their gratitude to micro-project groups leaders (MPG), all members of village investment committees (VIC) and local investment committees LIC). ARIS role and importance in local communities development was stressed especially.
