In the village Sokuluk of Sokuluk rayon, Chui oblast, the ceremony of launching the distributing gas pipeline took place with the participation of the Executive Director of the Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS), E. Ibraimova, and representatives of the World Bank mission and the German development bank KfW.
From now on, residents of several streets of this settlement: Leningradskaya, Moscowskaya, Kaynazarov, Lenin and Pobeda will be provided with gas. As Elmira Ibraimova noted, successful completion of the micro-project was made possible largely thanks to the initiative and extensive efforts of local residents. Lt us note that given the total cost of micro-project amounting to 2791027 som, ARIS grant support was 2151125 som, and the community contribution in labor and in cash was 639902 som.
According to the head of the World Bank mission, Keith MacLean, and the head of German development bank KfW Mission, Christoph Isenmann, the success of each micro-project, including this, which is implemented within the framework of the Village Investment Project, as well as the positive opinion of the beneficiaries are very important for the donors. “We support ARIS, which, in turn, provides effective assistance to local communities”, — said Christoph Isenmann.
